Metallic Atlanta Blue with black leather and only 16,200 km.
In 1995 BMW introduced the Z3, the brand’s first modern roadster, arriving for the 1996 model year straight after its appearance in James Bond’s GoldenEye. The launch edition in metallic Atlanta Blue over tan leather cemented its icon status.
Much of the Z3’s styling drew inspiration from BMW’s 507 roadster: long bonnet, short tail, a graceful “Coke-bottle” sweep through the flanks, and gill-like side vents with the BMW roundel.
The Z3 was built on proven 3-Series underpinnings. By 1999 the model had received incremental styling and chassis refinements, cementing its reputation for classic BMW balance, communicative steering and easy ownership. Fit and finish are simple and robust, with excellent global parts support.
Inside, the Z3 offered straightforward ergonomics with dual airbags, ABS, air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, remote central locking, a manually operated soft-top, and factory alloy wheels.
Power comes from BMW’s 1.9-litre inline-four (1,895 cc), sending drive to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. The light nose, compact wheelbase and independent suspension deliver confident, predictable handling.
This example is finished in metallic Atlanta Blue with tan leather and has only 16,200 km, confirmed by original service records: 297 km in 2000, 852 km in 2001, 2,130 km in 2004, 2,408 km in 2005, 2,889 km in 2006, 4,118 km in 2007, and 4,489 km in 2008. A CarVX report verified service records at 11,700 km in 2020, and 12,665 km in 2023. A JEVIC Odometer Verification Certificate confirms the current odometer at 16,103 km as accurate.
